Gardening for the Grill

In honour of Ontario’s local food week (June 1-7), we’d like to talk about “Gardening for the Grill”. Yes – Greenway’s veggies and herbs can add some deliciousness to every BBQ. Consider having a little garden just for the grill. We’d recommend some peppers (hot or sweet – your choice), tomatoes (large and minis), onions, eggplant, carrots, beets as a starting place. And then think about adding in some of your fresh, home-grown oregano, basil, parsley, thyme … the addition of fresh herbs to marinades, salads, pastas, vegetables is delightful for everyone’s taste buds.

And if you’re looking to get your kids and spouse to eat more veggies – growing them, and grilling them, is a great place to start.

GreenWay still has a great selection of herbs and veggies. Sabina’s choice veggies are large, pesticide-free, and chosen to be top producers – and they’re available to be planted in your gardens, as a pot for your patio or balcony, or even as a hanging basket. It’s hard to say no. Some of the tomatoes even have fruit on them already.

Come on out and get “Gardening for the Grill” with GreenWay today.
