About Greenway Garden Centre, Garden Centre in Kitchener

Our Greenhouse

Greenway Garden Centre is a full service greenhouse, providing gardeners with high quality plants at great prices! We take great pride in the plants we sell, and grow most of our stock locally in our 22 greenhouses.

Conveniently located in Breslau, between Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph, Greenway is more than just a garden centre. We are also a destination for butterfly lovers. We specialize in butterfly, hummingbird and bee friendly plants, and are one of Canada’s largest suppliers of pollinator friendly plants in Canada. Many of our pollinator attracting plants can be seen in bloom in our butterfly garden, and in our Butterfly Conservatory which is home to hundreds of tropical and native butterflies. Visitors to Greenway’s Butterfly Conservatory can also visit our Nature Centre where you view the amazing butterfly collection of John G. Powers, the Butterfly Man ™.

At Greenway, “going local” is one of our priorities. We demonstrate this through growing most of our plants, and supporting local charities and schools. We regularly contribute to charitable organizations, and our popular fundraiser program has assisted organizations in raising money for local priorities for years. We strive to grow local and support local everyday.

Us – Mark Mollison & Thanh-Thanh Tieu

garden centre in kitchenerSince 1993 Greenway Garden Centre has been providing Waterloo Region and Wellington County with high quality plants. When we joined the Greenway family in October, 2015 our goal was to continue on with Greenway’s tradition of superior, locally grown plants and a strong community focus.

As the parents to two young boys, raising our kids at Greenway helps us connect with nature, support our community and spend quality time together. We also love that we have joined a group of dedicated and knowledgeable staff who love Greenway and plants.

Owning Greenway Garden Centre is a dream come true for us. We believe that lives are made better when spent in nature. Our goal is to help bring a bit of nature to our community through locally grown, high quality plants.
